I'm going to start another thread for decisions that have gone for us too. I'm not saying there's any sort of conspiracy or anything, just something to look back on at the end of the season and see if we had the rub of the green or not. Feel free to comment with some I've missed or whether you disagree with them. Newcastle H - Anichebe goal wrongly disallowed (ball was over the line) at 1-1 - Fellaini goal wrongly disallowed (onside) at 1-1 Wigan A - Kone's opener should have been flagged offside at 0-0 - Jelavic should have had penalty when his foot was kicked as he was about to shoot not given. at 1-2 - Jelavic should have had penalty when being pushed in the back by Caldwell at 1-2 QPR A - Jelavic should have had penalty when his foot was caught as he pulled the ball back in the box at 1-1 - incorrect second yellow card for Pienaar at 1-1 Liverpool H - if not straight red for either, Suarez should have been yellow carded for both Mirallas and Distin fouls. both at 2-2 Reading A - Naismith fouled by Gorkks in the box, Penalty. at 1-0 - Jelavic shot handballed by Morison in the box, penalty. at 1-0 Norwich H - No touch on the Norwich player which a foul was given. Resulting free kick led to equaliser. Arsenal H - Pienaar fouled by Arteta in the box, penalty at 1-1 West Ham A - Gibson red carded (in injury time) - Osman disallowed goal at 0-0 (foul on goalkeeper) Wigan H - Kone handball just before he scored. that's 15 major decisions.
I think all of those decisions that you've highlighted there were all called wrong by the officials. However, we tend to forget the ones that go in our favour & I'm sure there's been a few of those to counter balance at least some of those. However, I would agree that overall we've been on the wrong end of more than our fair share so far this season. We don't react enough on the pitch at times imo, we expect the officials to do their jobs & we're often disappointed as a result. We need to be a bit more animated in our appeals & appeal as a team rather than just one individual. Moyes should show them a compilation of Stevie Me's referee whispering to give them a clue like.
You will also see a thread for decisions for us If you open your eyes enough unlike on your board where you moan moan moan...
While I might disagree with some details, I wouldn't deny Everton have been hard done by. For what it's worth, they are bottom of the "Debatable Decisions" league. Liverpool are just behind. http://www.debatabledecisions.com/english-premier-league-tables
Gibson red card added, Will wait until I see the disallowed goal again before adding just to be sure Anichebe didn't foul Jaaskelainen. EDIT: just saw it, never a foul.
Gotta admit youve had some fu*kin stinkers this season just like us, u did alrite in the derby wi the ref though as I recollect <wink> Sharpy was going f**kin mental on City Talk drivin to the match yesterday
http://www.debatabledecisions.com/english-premier-league-tables Not full proof or completely accurate but it proves a good basis that Chelsea, Everton and Liverpool have been most hard done by.
I've not watched a full game with any team In the prem that's not had a couple of howlers In It TBH they dont seem to be able to get throw ins and corners right let alone fouls...No doubt the FA are tapping their super ref's on the back for their terrific performances thus far??
Just saw MOTD and Kone hand balled the ball a second or two before he put it in the back of the net (similar to Fellaini with our first against the Swans) so I've added that
