Very true. I could draw up a Championship team of affordable twenty-somethings that would do a great job on a fraction of the wages of Bosingwa et al- Hughes was just too **** or not arsed enough.

As for Bent, maybe if we weren't staring the championship in the face.

 

Win against WBA and positive result against Liverpool puts you in a better position come January though. I can't see the teams above you pulling away

Daft statement. With the funds they have already ionvested and are prepared to invest to think that they would just wite it all off in May.

Would have a little bit of credibility if you were to say that if we went down they would at least give it until Jan next season. At this point have a look to see whether we were likely to go straight back up and then considering the parachute payments and chance of offloading some of the dross between now and then things wouldnt be too bad.

It should be the other way around mate. West Brom are better than Liverpool this season and were as good as them last season.

I wish people would stop bigging up Liverpool. They are NOT a top team any more. Anything other than a win against them on Sunday and I'll be very disappointed.

 

Depends where it is Swords. WBA are relatively easy to beat away from home but formidable at home, Liverpool are the opposite. I still think man for man Liverpool have better players than WBA albeit they aren't a top side anymore.

 

Boswinga should be arrested for fraud. £65,000 a week is this for real !!!.He is an awful defender and i can only think Sparkless liked his name as the reason he signed him. I hope he never wears a Rs shirt again and im fully behind in Harry in speaking out against another useless Hughes signing. It takes quite a while to get over a period of Hughes management,Rednapp looks to be the perfect man to turn Rangers around.
The Hughes formula seems to be buy poorer players than you already have and give them ludicrous wages then perform worse than before he came

These ridiculous contradictions of honest and legal employment between footballers and the honest, hard working man/woman in this country have become absurd. It's about time that clubs did something about. The Barton fiasco was bad enough, now Bosingwa! Football employers, and club fans have to push back and not accept this type of behaviour and drive these players out!
We seem able to drive managers out of clubs, it's about time we drove out dishonest players who are willing to accept large contracts and not deliver on the basics like hard work and managerial decisions! The PFA are a joke and make themselves look like as pathetic as their overpaid prima donnas.
