Took a hop skip and a jump to the Offie there for a half bottle of it. Told the guy the cheapest and he gave me MacArthurs.

Any of you Jocks know it?

Can't stand bourbon. There's a bitter liquorice taste I get from it, can't do the stuff at all

My malt stash for Christmas is looking pretty sweet just now. So far I have a 16yo scapa, a highland park can't tell the age yet, its still wrapped and 2 bottles I can't tell what they are due to wrapping.

    That's Protestant Whiskey.

That is a line from the wire rather than a commentary on the denomination of a drink.

I don't know a good one from a bad one tbh. My palate has changed that much over the years but if pressed I 'd drink Jameson. It has been at least a couple of years since I had a feed of it.

There is always a bottle of Powers in the cupboard but I wouldn't touch it myself.

I very rarely drink in the house.
