Sunderland have sold out their away ticket allocation all my living life (31 years). ok we don't fill our home ground but that's defo down to the fact that Sunderland have the highest unemployment rate in all of the uk, but we do sell every away ticket allocated, always have and always will.

You never sell out at chelsea. You only ever option gates 1-2 and take 1500 tickets and send back gates 3-4.
The only time you have brought big numbers to us was milk cup semi 85

The last time I remember Sunderland taking their full allocation was for Chris Sutton debut 1999 when away fans were seated east lower

we do sell our allocation EVERY GAME. just cause there's empty seats doesn't mean the allocation has not been sold, ultimately police have the final say on allocation based on safety and staffing levels hence why different teams get different allocations. we sell our away tickets. FACT! as a season ticket holder who tries to get to as many away games as supply and demand allows me. you who said we sent 1500 tickets back, how could you possibly know that? your club doesn't release that information. if so, link to your proof please or shut it.

Fair do sometimes tickets go do go back but that's a police issue, ie Chelsea will only supply police for half the tickets the other half can be taken if Northumberland police send down to london police to cover the other half. our police will not do this due to newcastle playing at home when we play away and visa versa. every away ticket available to our fans are SOLD.

It's not an argument. Why would you ever be restricted to less than 3000 for any league game if you were able to sell it? I'm not really bothered if you take millions everywhere or not but to say you never fail to sell out is quite clearly some form of delusion.

You only had 1000 in Swansea when 2000 were available.

You never take a full allocation at Arsenal and you certainly didn't have a full allocation at Anfield this week. You could see that on TV

Certainly didn't take the full amount for the game at Carrow Road this season as there was an announcement made a week before the game that there would be some extra tickets available for home supporters as Sunderland hadn't sold there whole allocation. No policing issues, no safety issues, the tickets were just unsold and sent back.
