To all the 'fans' in the Northam booing Guly when he came on (again). You are a disgrace.

Lots of people we complaining and saying that they hope he didn't come on because he is useless but I didn't hear booing. I think he may have been the link with Lambert that we needed.

I heard plenty of booing from the guy sat next to me, whenever Guly got a touch he was calling him a useless twat, I didnt feel he played badly at all, can't remember him doing much but he certainly didn't give the ball away every time he got it.

If his shot in extra time had crept inside the net instead of going just wide via a deflection, everybody would have given him hero worship status, such is the thin line between good and bad in the game.

The recent Guly booers were our undoing today.

Guly should have played from the start wide on the left but Nigel has been trying to protect him from the idiots who are intent upon destroying him so he came on too late in the game.

That left all those people who claim expert footballing knowledge and have been calling out for Steeeeeeeeeeeeve and Mayuka to learn the hard lesson as to why neither has been playing. De Ridder isn't even championship standard in my opinion but I didn't boo him as I couldn't see how that would help the team.

So today I blame no one for our defeat other than the big brave Bully Boys who give Guly such a hard time and try to undermine his confidence.

They should hang their heads in shame.

Who's been wanting De Ridder to play?, I haven't seen any posts saying it. As for Mayuka I felt he played ok, but the lack of games and blending with the team was easy to see.

I listened to Solent and if there was any booing of Guly, it wasn't apparent on the effects mike this time.

Yeah was there today and certainly didn't hear any.

In fact when he came on I was pleasantly surprised to hear "Guly! Guly! Guuuly!" etc.

Listened out for it from Block 38 and heard nothing of the sort.

Glad to hear most of you didn't hear booing, because it is plain bullying. Guly will get a lot of game time this season, because he is Adkins favoured substitute.

Never get why people boo Guly :emoticon-0112-wonde I've always been behind him since he signed , supporters do like him just there are a select few in the Northam who use him as a scapegoat for their frustration. He's looking sharp recently and can see him getting an important goal or 2 against the likes of Arsenal or Man Utd

I completely agree! I was saying this the other day to my mate too, the games he's came on recently he's definitely added something and he's versatile to cover more than one position. I would have played Guly on the left and Ramirez behind Lambert. I would support any player to the death if they pulled on a Southampton shirt and if they aren't playing well then they need the fans' backing more than ever. To boo a player as he's running on is absolute madness.
