He's had a broken nose so he's been out for a few weeks. He has it strapped still. Rodgers brought Sahin in hoping he could be a creative attacking play making but it didnt work. Sahin chose us over Arsenal. I think he would be incredible at Arsenal funnily.

Good result, great scoreline for you. But it was only Fulham who have a terrible record as it is. Win against Stoke next I think people would be foolish not to consider you challengers for 4th (3rd, 2nd, 1st )
To be fair they've done well away from home against the people in and around the top 4 though. Drew at the Emirates & Stamford Bridge and only lost 3-2 at Old Trafford. So its a decent result in that respect.
We pretty much play in a similar model to that of arsenal, One attacking mid and two in the middle, where Lucas sits slightly deeper than gerrard. If gerrard could move to his preferred Attack mid role, which is where he really thrives, i think Sahin could do a terrific job along with lucas. I remember the game against Norwich where he played deep and he was incredible. He's really not got the pace to play the attacking mid role and he even recently stated that's not suitable for him. At Dortmund he was exceptional playing in a deeper role and i'm pretty sure we brought him in for that role. It's just that he was never given a proper run of games
At the same time, they've fallen dramatically in the last few weeks and had a lot of injuries in midfield today. A wins a win but I don't think it's anything groundbreaking. As I said, Stoke away is a whole different kettle of fish.
