Ah i see, i guess there is some sort of logic in that - personally i had hoped they would lose and remain only 6 points clear of us... I'm more interested in us getting as high up the table as possible, than whether Utd or City are topping the table.
Cant believe we're sitting in third with the season we've had so far, isnt it the worst start under Wenger or something like that? I know the Chavs will probably overtake us with 2 games in hand and only 1 point behind, but that still makes us 4th.
Stewart Downing got his first assist for Liverpool in the league today. So in his time at Liverpool, he now has one assist and zero goals. He cost them £20 mil.
Wenger, sign him up! Downing is incredible, what a great goal, AND an assist? Sign him, great English winger.
Arsenal, Spurs, Everton, and West Brom are all on 30 points! That was a very good win for Everton which tells me they will be right up there, West Brom have been fading but did what they had to do today and got the important win.
Everton were handed a huge slice of luck when Carlton Cole was sent off, that pretty much handed them the advantage.
Also disallowed a good goal at 0-0 in the first half, and Gibson wrongly sent off ( the latter Didnt make a difference though )
True, and I think Everton will be up there towards the end of the season. But I still think we'll finish above them - and the Spuds
