    looked real bad didn't it? i thought that! easily could've been a broken ankle to be honest looked pretty nasty.

    just seen our coverage. what with nolan's shot, ranger's shot, and shola's being cleared off the line i'm still annoyed we didn't get more!! bloody foster.

    now sunderland are on... grumble grumble..

    anyone else worried about Harry's search for a 20+ goal a season striker, we've already lost Carroll, and could realistically lose Enrique, Barton and Tiote (if the papers are to be believed - IMO only Enrique will go)

    But Harry c'mon - leave Shola alone !!! he's all we've got !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    on till 4am aint it? mental. switching over myself now. was thinking i'd have to get an early train back to manc tomorrow but not off till tuesday now so i can afford a late one!

    nahh, not a chance, the messi swap deal looks pretty solid to go through to be honest!

    Keep forgetting about this, I just don't think we can compare Messi to Shola (yet anyway), Sholas done it all - scored in the Nou camp, played premier league football consistently for a number of years, not to mention he's a man of the people. Would feel a lot better if we could get Villa in the deal with Messi, the loss wouldn't be so bad then

    I mean I could be wrong and this messi could turn out to be alright, from what I've seen on youtube he's alright. But those youtube clips always show the best bits only. Looks like he'd score 50 goals a season from those clips !! as if ..

    personally I think he'd be the next luque if we sign him.

    youtube makes anyone look good (except perch...)
    that's why there's a distinct lack of classic first rate Shola material on there. True footballers make sure they stay well clear!

    messi would easily flop. he'd find it very difficult to unsettle any of our first XI at the minute to be honest!!
