So he should, it was a brilliant tackle. The ref got it completely wrong.

 

I think Wigan will stick to their game plan, closing us down and contesting every ball. I'm hoping that they tire, the conditions are not easy out there, and with us upping the urgency a bit, I think we'll get some more space in the second half.

He had the best opportunity in the game to just slide the ball to Podolski and just opted to shoot straight to the defender with his left foot, another chance he had he naively put a tame shot with his inside of his foot with 3 defenders there. He won't get a 1 on 1 with the keeper like 90% of his goals, you won't get much better chances as a CF.

Like I've said without space he is nothing. He still can come good this game on counter attacks but we need someone that can do something with defenders facing him.
