I have no complaints about how Blackpool are handling this, it is completely Liverpool's fault yet again. Lots of stories making it clear to everyone under the sun that we want to sign him and comments about getting it done early not helping either. What happened to the Liverpool way? Keep the laundry private and make an announcement when there is something to announce!

Also agree on the English/British front. I won't go as far as others in saying we shouldn't buy them but it would be nice for us to get a foreign bargain once in a while. Like a Hyypia, Alonso, Arbeloa, Agger, Skrtel, Reina, etc

Whatever price Blackpool put on Ince we get a 35% discount, so if they value him at say 6m they'll add the extra 35% on to suit.

 

But from our perspective that 35% makes little difference other than with forecasts.

If Ince moves to someone else we still receive that 35%. Just because it is us that is buying him shouldn't make a difference. the only place it makes a difference is in our own books. Because there is no clear set figure it can't be included in any forecasts etc and therefore it won't be part of any budget calculations. Effectively, the 35% gives us the equivalent pounds extra for the budget

 

We should put our money together and get Brendan a La Liga Transfer gift card for Christmas.

 

Or the club a copy of the film "the Negotiator"
