It all comes down to Arsenal having to show some humility in recent years due to the financial situation. However with Arsenal's profit per season set to increase from £0M to £80M things should start to change back to how they were.

You can't fail to spend any money if your producing income of £80M per season. Plus Wenger and Gazidis have said the days of financial austerity are over.

Wages have hit a saturation point at the minute, the wage bill is likely to stay level or decrease slightly over the next 12-24 months depending on investment.

It hardly matters, as your deluded manager will piss it away on more "talent" like Gervinho..

You can't get every transfer right, and if you can only afford one player and it goes wrong its very evident as you point out with Gervinho. If you can afford four players however, the chances of you being disappointed at the end of a transfer window are significantly diminished.....

Let's wait and see how much money Wenger actually gets to spend. Kroenke, you can bet, is not a philanthropist, nor a "soccer" lover. He's here for the money, and if you're making any, he'll want the lion's share.

  9. AFC might spend more than us, but we will spend more wisely, and still keep improving.

No, it really doesn't. That you make such a claim merely shows how little you know, unfortunately.

You've outspent us the entire time and your wage bill is £1m more per week than ours now.
You can't or won't pay enough to keep your best talent, whilst you give out relatively large amounts to those that don't deserve it.
Until that changes it won't matter how high your revenue is.

So how does Arsenal beating you 5-2 in the last two games give Spurs the edge over us exactly ?

So your one claim to oneupmanship over Arsenal at the moment is a scenario that didn't happen, but one which you've made up in your head but can never be proven because it never happened??

In that case, I'd also like to let you know that had RVP not been sent off against Barca we'd have won the Champions League. You will deny it, but we know it's the truth.

no,have a look at the league, the table doesn't lie,i think you will find we are above you, even though we have had our key players injured, and have yet to hit top form.
