Eriksen v Groningen yesterday: Questionable keeping, but not bad.
Only the fail, but they are linking us with younes belhanda of Montpellier for 10mill. To be fair, it's probably bullshit, but it makes sense. It's far more affordable and a deal is much more likely I'd say. It's one of our typical "spend a bit which might result in failure, but if it does... at least we haven't spent too much" signings. (rather than forking out that bit extra.) anyone seen anything of him? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Younès_Belhanda http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...tenham-poised-make-offer-Younes-Belhanda.html There might be no truth in this whatsoever, but I can see this type of signing happening in January.
You nice Bellender....where do we find these names! don't expect too many shirt sales with that on the back!
Somebody else was saying Belhanda would be a good addition a while back: http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/143357-vertonghen?p=2796696&viewfull=1#post2796696 Let's just ignore the bit about Giroud...
Redknapp acting like a twat today: 'We can't wait. The chairman is going to have to bite the bullet a bit and get on with what we have got to do. 'We really need to be doing our business right at the start of January. It is no good a club trying to ring up to do business on the last day of January - it's too late. We are going to be finished by then. 'Daniel will still no doubt be ringing up on transfer deadline day offering me a three-for-one on a bunch of players he cannot give away. But we won't be waiting till that late hour. 'We have to find one or two players to really make the difference.' Really? Well I hope that we don't loan you anyone when you're back in the Championship and trying to reduce your massive wage bill then, old friend. Classy.
Harry needs to spend less time trying to score points off Daniel Levy, and more on his excuses for when QPR go down. He's just given us a reason not to loan them anyone in January as it is.
Sorry PNP but I see no reason to call Harry a twat here. His reference to Levy's way of doing business is spot on imo. How many transfer windows have we seen Levy playing this hard ball game and it backfire ?? Levy has ballsed up at least 3 consecutive transfer windows through his silly mind games on the last day. But hey, let's not miss an opportunity to have a go at Redknapp shall we ??
Concentrate on having a go at our current berk of a manager instead of having a go at Harry. If he had delivered a crap and boring performance like AVB did today, you'd be slaughtering him.
Arry should never have been our most successful premier league manager, took us on a great champions league run and put together one of the most exciting spurs teams we have seen in the last 20-30 years, no wonder so many fans hate the guy! As for Levy, we have all made digs at the chairman on how he acts, so whats wrong with arry showing some humour in an interview?
I suppose the sour grapes angle is bound to exist, reminded to us by the usual suspects! but for me, we've lost out on many many players because of Levy's dithering and bloody mindedness, nobody else. I applaud someone for bloody telling him, no-one within the club has got the guts to, not that it will make one jot of difference. It'll get to the point one day no other chairman will want to deal with him, "Spurs are on the phone about so and so...sod that, tell them he's not for sale, I can't be doing with that bloke!"
