I think this was a bit tongue in cheek, just trying to show that we can have a laugh no matter what results might be... Yet you take this so personally!
Same here, I don't really remember you being here that long. Maybe you did post, but not to the extent you do now. I guess when you can't say "we're above you in the league", then you don't really have much to say at all...
Seriously? If we beat you, we'll take the piss, if you win, you'll take the piss. That's multi club forums for you.
Yeh, seriously. I'm not sure we will, we hardly took the piss last time we beat you. I don't really go on your board, do we post much on there? I'm guess nowhere near as much as you post on here? That's not a dig or anything, just a genuine question...
I'm guessing roseniorhisgranisfromhull, which is weird, as I typed "Rosie" to reference him earlier but deleted it as I wasn't sure people would know who I meant!
There was a small amount of gloating, but to be fair, it was fairly low key. We have less of you posting on our board than we used to, Proud posts from time to time, Filberto posts all the time(humorous stuff), Danger pops on occasionally, Fallen used to on all the time but seems to have stopped recently, others like Freddy and Wizard post occasionally and that thick bloke Walsh.No5 posts the odd offensive bit of drivel. There's definitely more of us on your board, but there's nearly five times as many of us on here, so it's not really a surprise.
To be honest, if we beat Hull the way they're going at the minute, it would be less about getting one over them and more about winning a six-pointer. Same goes for Cardiff - although we're at home in that one so I expect us to do well. It's not even like we can go above Hull with a win anyway, so I for one will be leaving any potential pisstaking until until the end of the season. Or at least until they begin their inevitable drop down the league.
A draw between you and Cardiff would be good for us as we gain points on two genuine promotion contenders. Also, might put pressure on Pearson, I hope you sack him, can't see it myself, not because I have anything against him but IMO he's a very good manager and I'd prefer if you didn't have him . I don't think Leicester fans made much about beating us at all, we deserved to lose that day. Leicester fans claiming they were in first gear I wouldn't say was true though, although I admit I don't watch Leicester much, I've seen all of their TV games and I thought your performance against a was better throughout the game than any of those performances, so I think it was probably one of your better performances, which is no bad thing as you guys were good, but I may well be wrong. Boxing Day is a tough fixture for both sides, I wouldn't like to predict. Judging by what you guys think, our best chance would be to close you down and get in your faces, which we've been doing well away from home, so hopefully we can transfer that form to this fixture. Whatever happens though, both teams will still be in the thick of the promotion shake up.
You were being very reasonable until you descended into the 'inevitable drop down the league' nonsense.
No club has ever sustained the type of run you're on for the rest of the season. Reading possibly the only exception. It's a fair comment.
We will almost certainly have a wobble at some point, but that doesn't constitute an inevitable drop down the league. We are one of best teams in the league, keeping our best players fit and maintaining our current form won't be easy, but us ballsing it up is far from inevitable.
You will have a run of 4/5 games where you'll probably only get 1 win and a couple of draws and some losses. As the league is so tight, you'll drop down the league. That doesn't mean to say you'll continue to drop or stay lower, just that there will be a time where you drop points and the clubs around you pick up more. Like I said, it's a fair comment. The same goes for every team.
The last bit was obviously to get a bite (which it did). But in seriousness, I do expect Hull to drop off a bit. Still looking good for a play-off spot though.
