In that case, given all the rain he's had, theo may find you useful for a lift to the match tomorrow.
If you're floating past the south of Hampshire at all, H, I can provide the rum ration and the ship's biscuit...
lol...well, i did my little run first, and then got on the bike. A while ago i was biking for an hour...today i could barely manage 15 minutes without dying! lol I've never had the strongest legs, but they definitely need some work, if it wasn't for my legs i could have gone for hours! lol i think i'll try that next time Theo, far less effort than cycling!
Not much news in NZ at this time of the year. Mrs NZ was with the children at a playground yesterday when she was interviewed by a reporter from a nation tv channel about the sort of weather she wanted for Christmas Day. It was broadcast on the main news programme last night. She said she didn't want it too hot or too cold, which is Kiwi speak for between 22C and 25C. The forcast at the moment is for something approaching 30C. What she didn't say, but was thinking was, "I hope it is not too hot or to cold because we are going to my parents' place for Christmas lunch and my mother will be insufferable if it is too hot for her." Good job she didn't say that because it was her mother who told us that she had been on TV!
Morning all - cannot sleep this morning so decided to get up and see what is happening with the world! One of the disadvantages of not having a few beers last night I suppose! We had our annual Panto trip last night and for the first time in years I did not really enjoy the show. Primarily because the "star" act was that Louis Spence - now I did not have a clue who he was and required Mrs W_Y and Little Miss W_Y to explain. Now you normally expect one of the Panto characters to camp it up a bit with a lot of mincing, but this fella took it to an extreme and the "gay innuendo" was appalling and was not at all funny - I would imagine that gay people would have thought it very offensive. Anyway rant over! So looking forward to this afternoon, it's the start of my Xmas break...COYH
We are taking the grandaughter to see Little Red Riding Hood at the Gloucester Guildhall this evening, don't even know if there is any 'known' actors in it Not been to a panto since I was a kid
It's chucking it down again...unmooring the barge to set off for Watford. Anyone know any good mooring places?
And to reach the half way point in the season in the playoffs with the advantage of a big squad to see us through this window pretty promising....
