Suzi Perry will present the BBC's Formula 1 coverage from the start of next season, replacing Jake Humphrey. Lee didn't inspire me when she's done it before so i am happy its not her. My lack of interest in Moto GP means i'll have to reserve judgement on Perry. To be fair though its was always going to be harsh on whoever replaces Jake because they're breaking up a system thats worked well for 4 years. as for the race calander am i right that they've ditched Korea, Monaco and Abu Dhabi for Canada, Monza and the potential extra round. Even if we only have 19 races its still a better deal.
Not a fan of Perry, I might be the only one who doesn't like her as she was popular with the MotoGP crowd, but she was too fluffy for my liking.
I think Lee or Perry are better than Jake. Jake Humphrey was all about making jokes and whilst that is ok, he didn't seem like a proper fan of the sport. Just my opinion.
I love Suzi Perry- great news. Humphries was really starting to grate on me, I know Jordan is not everybodies cup of tea but he is an F1 legend at the end of the day and Humphreys 'ribbing' of him was really getting on my tits
Phew... I thought I was the only one that wasn't sold on Jake, nice enough chap but all he was, IMHO, was a front man, didn't come across as very knowledgeable, at least Perry knows a bit about Motorsport already and, pardon the sexism, she's a lot prettier to look at
Susie Perry is a brilliant choice, very informed, a true racing fan, female and good looking, just fine by me, much better than that Norfolk never quite fully commited Humphreys !!!
Ha! I realise it reads a bit like that, doesn't it IBVinF3! But no: I meant it. As I think of my next sentence, I realise I'm about to utter another slight ambiguity; so I'll just leave it like this: I think she's the best choice the BBC could have made.
BBC have screwed up, there goes the final piece of the glass ceiling. Damn you BBC, damn you. Might as well allow women to play football in the premier league now.
I was under the impression that premiership football is already played by a load of Prima Dona's And, as for the BBC screwing up, I think that occured a long time ago, judging by recent revelations, for me Suzie Perrys input is a welcome and positive change.
