We could always bring in JWP and switch Ramirez out to the left.

Stats show we are unbeaten against Sunderland in December. Played three won all. 2-1, 2-0 and 4-0. Any of which will do for me.

A couple of weeks ago I thought we should play Rodriguez, switch Ramirez to the left and play Lambert a little bit deeper but given Lee's recent performances for the u-21's + the fact that he is a left footed international player, I'd probably go with him as a straight swap for Lallana. bit of a gamble but allows the team to funcion in much the same way as it did.

I'm not keen on the 4-4-2 system simply because I think having 5 in midfield will give us much better control and will give Sunderland real problems (as well as Ramirez more freedom)

Would save Tadanari for the bench. What a substitute he would make if we need to take them by surprise.

Yes but let's hope we are safely in front by then. I think we need an early goal.

Just watched all of Nigel's press conference. 14 mins of not answering questions about Adams injury and KD feelings about Sunderland. A masterclass!

I would like to see Mayuka get a run out. Personally I think the top four will be Puncheon Ramirez Rodriguez and Rickie though.

Apparently the line that Craven Cottage is on does not have striking train drivers. Unusual, I would have thought the whole underground would have been on strike.

In the match preview on OS, Lallana's injury is described as a knock...make of that what you will!

I am not too sure you can make anything of it. The whole club is so closed on issues such as that, who knows, Lallana could even be playing Saturday.

Nigel did actually say that Adam wouldn't be playing on Saturday. That is as much team news as we are likely to get until about an hour before KO. I wouldn't mind betting he is back for the Stoke game, and on the bench for Fulham.

It's frustrating at times but I like the fact that the club aren't like some rent a quotes!

True, although it would make predicting the team less fun.

It is fun watching the journos try to get the imformation they want by trying to outwit Nigel with questions from a different angle. No chance...he spots it coming from a mile off.

It's quite entertaining watching Nigel refuse to reveal anything remotely useful!
