Thinking of GOING to St Petersburg

    Not been on a away trip with the reds in Europe before,and am thinkin of takin the lad to the AWAY match in February

    I did A Level History at School and a lot of it was Russian, so Peter The Great and Rasputin and all that malarkey sounds quite attractive

    Any advice from you well travelled sorts. I believe it may be 20 below that time of year.. Nice!!!

    Our pictures are almost the same. I saw your post and thought 'I dont remember writing that'.

    Any way, personally I wouldnt choose Russia for my first European away trip unless it was a final, but it sounds like it is more up your street than mine.

    Ask Martin Skrtel for tips, he used to live there.

    I'm pissed off we got this draw <grr> Not a chance in hell I'm going to St Petersburg :D

    Never been to Russia so can't give you much advice DDDDDD except wrap up warm and watch your back. All I will say is....it looks a stunning city to be fair and at least we aren't playing in Rome where you need to wear stab proof grundies <yikes>
