Seems that the lid has been lifted, and what we thought, that the team spirit was lost under MH with too many new players coming in. It was rumoured earlier that the squad that got us up were not happy with not been given a chance, and also the wages of the newcomers being way above what they were getting. We can argue between us the relevant merits of the promoted squad, but the new guys had to be integrated into that squad, but it seems under MH the old guard were not treated well and so Team Spirit, which has always been such a feature of QPR teams went out of the window. On paper the guys that came in should have been good enough to get us to mid table but if you had two camps in the dressing room, that and the fact that MH didn't seem to rate any of the original guys, to me goes an awful long way to explaining why we are where we are in the league. Harry seems to have sorted out the team spirit so I hope we don't go mad in the Transfer Window and create the problems of old. A couple of the right additions should suffice. Then "onwards and upwards".
For sure HR has added discipline where before there was very little. Whether or not the current squad of aging mercenaries can ever develop a true team spirit remains to be seen.
What of this statement is a quote from Derry, and what is your own conjecture? Seems to me we have to differentiate between the two before slapping each other on the back about how much we know.

Nothing in it for me to defend Hughes, but I read the same stuff on SSN and concluded that Derry was bitter about his reduced game time.
Exactly and was it not Derry who was interviewed recently and said that the 'dressing room' were together? Sorry but why say all is well then say it is not?
he was on the footballers football show last night. he didnt exactly say that things were bad under Hughes but he didnt deny it either. he was saying good things about Harry though and how the attitude is more positive now.
A graph of our wage bill must look like an alpine landscape with all its peaks and troughs. Compare that to clubs like Norwich and probably Swans and others with disciplined pay ceilings. Whilst 'top' (prem) players would probably think twice about a move to those kind of clubs, the prem opportunities for players outside that bracket means there'd still be plenty of takers. No problem with team spirit under those circumstances though is there - which goes some way to explaining the differences in match results. About time we stop going for aging names and start building a team based on onside Rs imo.
