    According to Humberside, we will try and sign Meyler on a permanent and bring Stockdale back on loan until the end of the season in January

    Meyler on a permanent would free up a spot for Campbell to come in on loan.

    Steve Bruce was saying little with Burnsy last night. But yes thats how it sounded to me as far as Meyler and Stockdale are concerned. I think that like Elmohamady from Sunderland , City being back in the PL again come May and we shall go and buy Stockdale from Fulham.

    Ifs buts and maybes.
    As they have just both been recalled by their parent they must have their reasons.
    Assume it isnt just to give them Christmas cards.
    Any further deals for these to will depend on their own transfer activity so will drag on through Januray until they get sorted.

    This could be in 7 or 8 games time when damage could have been done to our aspirations.

    Are you aware of something I`m not ???? Stockdale has returned to Fulham to act as cover due to an injury to back up goalkeeper, Meyler is still with us ! Seems your looking a bit deeper in to this then needed

    Is this recently reported somewhere, last I heard MON hadn`t requested a return, mind you at work so have missed todays reporting

    SB apparently indicated that MON hadn`t requested return of Meyler during his press conferrence, so I can only presume that this has been after then.
