Of course it was exaggerated, that was so the terrorist state of Israel could be created with no questions asked and the Jews have been playing the victim card ever since to get away with allsorts. This was all planned in the 1890's.

It's just that you said that they couldn't have systematically exterminated that many jews. I was questioning how you came to that conclusion, you must have done some maths?
I never said they couldn't, I said I doubted. I just find it extraordinary ... 6m over say 6 years of war! Equates to 2,700 a day on average! They killed, on average, 2,700 people a day... Of course they didn't spend every day exterminating people, so they must have killed 10s of thousands at a time on occasion! Maybe even 100s of thousands. Is that not extraordinary?
The Germans have always been recognised as efficient It wasn't over that many years, bout 4 I think, and they had a few death camps, so it's not that many peeps per day. Don't forget that loads died from exhaustion/starvation/being shot/having experiments on them/... It's ****ed but not surprising, it just shows what mankind is capable of if we put our mind to it. I'm not sure that you have the right end of the stick with this one. The orchestras, plays and other entertainment the prisoners performed weren't to make the likes of Belsen and Auschwitz some sort of Butlins for Jews, they were for the pleasure of the Nazis. Same with the brothels and such, the Nazis picked out anyone with talents (musicians, dentists etc) and used the fit birds to rape. The concentration camps came about because of economics as it was costing too much in ammunition and man power to round them up, supervise digging of graves then shooting them. Locals (not Germans or Austrians) would make a day of it and go to watch Jews get shot like it was going to a show. Not many after the war would have said they'd agreed with the Nazis but the dislike of Jews was not exclusive to the Germans and executions were tolerated if not approved of. Jews in the camps had many uses for the Nazis and it paid to keep them in reasonable health and comfort. Many of the conspiracy theories floating about on here are nothing more than common sense on behalf of the Germans. The idea that there was some sort of Blue Square (yellow star?) Premiership for inter-concentration camp Jewish prisoners is absurd. I don't know the exact numbers but many books on the subject come up to or over 6million jews dead or unaccounted for and that the Russians lost over 20million during WW2. Nit picking over numbers is one thing, thinking it never happened and was some sort of consipiracy is idiotic but par for the course on Not606 as opening a pint of milk is a hidden message that space aliens are about to usurp the planet and put Osama Bin Laden in charge (he wasn't shot dead either) and the Twin Towers were destroyed because the Vulcans reckoned it never had the correct planning permission.

The camps were a statement by the Nazis that they wanted every Jew dead. Not 2million, or 4million, or 6million but ALL of them. Getting all picky about how many could or could not be killed in Auschwitz misses the point. The camps were designed to hit the psyche of the Jews as a people, not instill a "don't worry Mr Goldberg, there is only a one in ten chance of being gassed here because the design of the furnaces are not very efficient" attitude amongst the inmates. Easy to sit at a PC with YouTube on then deciding the Holocaust didn't happen. I know the counter to this point of view is that is it just as easy to sit here and believe it all happened but I remember when there was this wonderful thing called a library and you could get an invention called a book that had words in it. Strange to think that this was how we learned things back in the olden days in the days before ready made opinions were spouted as the only truth.
