    I used to play 5-a-side tournaments with Sammy, got to say he was a cut above everyone and he was a year or two too young (And there was a few teams who used to enter full of Newcastle & Sunderland academy players), if he's managed to build on that and actually grown some since then, I'd say he's nothing like his brother - he carried half of our team!

    Yeah it was Sammy, I've heard he'll apparently be way better than Shola.

    I've heard the same.

    Looks good for the future, with him, Ranger, Airey and Donaldson all coming through the academy.

    Was definitely Sam Ameobi. For some reason we had the full 11 warming up, the 7 subs (including Tav and Fergie), plus a mysterious 2 extras. One was Ameobi, the other wore shorts with number 36 on, which a glance at the program confirmed we don't actually have. Any ideas?

    He will be the 19th member of the squad, so he would have been on the bench if somebody else picked up and injury. It was definitely him warming up at the start.
