Well its not long till many of us will be making the trip up north to see the biggest upset in the history of the FA cup.

Many of us have mentioned meeting up before or after and I for one think this would be a great idea. So if you are up for it we can register here and make the plans. I dont know manchester but will try to gain info from some of my sources about a good place. Any contributions are welcome, lets make this a memorable day for all.

Don't be such a pessimist. I have every confidence in Zola's favourites getting the job done. ;)

I'm on one of the official coaches so not sure where I'll be dropped off. I might have to meet you guys in the stadium somewhere depending on where we are dropped off.

What is the normal set up for away games? Do they drop you at the stadium and then escort you in or is it just a drop off and then you're free to wander?

Sandy, it depends on the venue. I imagine that for this game you'll be dropped off at the stadium, as there will be the space to do so.

Usually, they allow so much time for traffic that you should get there early enough to wander off anyway.

My boss said there is very little for the away fans close to the stadium. The away fan pubs are in the city centre. Within the stadium grounds, outside the stadium, you do have some entrtainment, like a stage and a bar area. My boss seems to think away fans can also mingle around this area. Might be worth investigating.

City have closed the 3rd-tier stands, so not sure they are expecting too many home fans, so think they might let more away fans in this area!
