I think the only thing that isn't spot on is the creativity we have and our left side isn't that weak with Brady back with a new maturity

The left side weakness is based on those stats that came out a few weeks ago which showed most of our play was down the right and hardly any down the left.

Thing is that was based on the whole season, when Rosenior played there for a few games we hardly went through him at all and he always cut inside so that will have pulled the average stats down a bit while Brady playing there will be pushing the average stats up a bit.

He goes out of his way to say we aren't flambouyant too often and it's bollocks.

He also suggests that Bruce being out might make our defence less effective, when it shouldn't really matter too much.

Really it's just him reading a load of stats and interpreting them.

We appear weaker down our left for the simple reason there are far more talented right wingers around than left.

Also, I'm not sure where the functional rather than flamboyant tag comes from. Surely in Koren and Aluko we have two of the most talented players in this division.

Apart from that it's pretty accurate. Love to know where the stats came from!

Well apart from the Millwall game first half we have been a lot more funcional than flamboyant I suppose and we do seem to have the capability of grinding out wins in tight situations. Lord knows my fingernails have taken a good chewing this season.
Now I dont get to see the games live but I do watch them on tiger player a couple of days later and from what I have seen he seems to be right on the money.
It will be interesting to see what happens tomorrow at Derby and if they try and play down our left side as a supposed weakness, one thing for sure we aint flying under the radar no more people are well aware of what we are all about

Think you can add Quinny and Elmo to the list too

Well I'll be looking forward to the chess game. I don't know why going to a football game you would expect a game of chess to break out. Who's going to decide on the moves? SB or is it going to be a joint thing between the players & coaching staff of are the Allams just going to decide?

Don't get me wrong, I think Quinn and Elmo are VITAL to the way we play and to our success, hitherto. But the distinction here is between flamboyant and functional. Whilst they are very, very good at what they do, I don't regard either Quinn or Elmo as 'flamboyant'.

What is this guy smoking! We play like SB's face. Could he get that anymore wrong? We only play like SB's face when the other team is playing anti-football.

I think that was a cracking write-up and by-and-large correct. Al we need to do now is launch long balls straight down the middle and go 3-0 up in the first 20 minutes. Check-mate methinks!

We play like Bruces face? Well he does seem to have a smile on his face most of the time so I suppose he is right about that too.

There was a thread on here a while back linking to a study about all Championship clubs analysing lots of stats. Personally I didn't think there was that much in there of interest or relevance apart from the chances created/goals scored comparison. I think this is where that report was compiled from anyway.

Maybe not be he was right about us going a goal up then soaking up pressure, and about them needing to take their chances when they came along because we are a well organised team. Also the bit about us getting stronger as the game goes on and our level of fitness. Think he also said he thought it might be a 2-1 loss for them, I think that was pretty close to how the game panned out

Well you can do as much research as you like , I'm sure a lot of people know how Barcelona play for example , stopping them playing and beating them is another thing
