It's a strange day when Celtic are the last real hope Britain has in the CL <laugh>

What do you think the scoreline will reflect?

To be fair to United they do have a chance albeit slim but at Old Trafford they'll play right into Real's hands and the explosive pace of Real's front 3 will cause them problems all day long. They'll just try and park the bus at Real and play for 0-0. Real will beat them by 2 or 3 and kill off the tie, the away goal they'll get at Old Toilet will render it meaningless. We all know Real will score in both legs.

As for Bayern and the Goons I can't wait, I'm making sure I watch both games with Goon mates. Bayern will dissect their defence exquisitely

I see no reason why Chelsea fans wouldn't support Arsenal in Europe...
I always want Chelsea and Liverpool to win once Arsenal are out

I'd never support Arsenal, Tottenham, West Ham, Leeds, Liverpool or Man Utd in Europe. I don't see how any Londoner could want another London club in Europe to outdo them, rivalry is too strong.

I was delighted when Valencia knocked Leeds out and even moreso when Barca won in Paris. On the other hand Fulham had my full support, as have Birmingham and Everton etc in the past.

NEVER want London clubs to do well, only exception was Fulham in UEFA cup few years back. Don't like to see United and Liverpool do better than us but I'll support them against Barca.

I don't even want Newcastle to do well, not that I care all that much but I think I'd be slightly happier if they went out. I've never had much time for Everton either and I was glad when Fulham lost in the final too although now they have Jol I'd be happy to see them do well.

United will get past Madrid imo, draw away then they'll win at old trafford.

Arsenal will win a close one or draw at home to bayern but can see them getting slaughtered about 4 or 5 - 1 at bayern

That's the way it should be. Really did piss me off when that rag of a paper "The S*n"" claimed that the whole country should be behind United when they got to the final in 2011. Talk about bias eh? Wouldn't expect less from a United-owned rag though <doh>

You can't win a tie in one leg but you can lose it.

Man Utd won't play to win at the Bernebau, if they concede 3 to Reading they'll easily leak goals to Real. All Real need to do is win 2 or even 1-0 then the tie is over once they grab an away goal at Old Trafford. United would have actually been better off having the home leg first.

As for Arsenal, Bayern have been better on the road, equally Arsenal have been average at the Emirates. Bayern are made to counter attack, they'll kill Arsenal in both legs. If Bayern really want to I wouldn't look past Double Figures. I'll certainly be throwing good money on a -3 handicap over both legs

How could anyone except Chelsea fans have anything against Fulham? :(

What about Middlesbrough when they went to the final?

Didn't want Boro to win either. Disliked Hodgson, disliked McClaren :)

Interesting point re 'supporting' other teams. Our allegiance goes as follows....

Us - by a country mile of course.

    Then any London team.

    Then any UK team.

Plus sometimes things get skewed by managers we like eg Jose, Carlo etc. And by those we don't eg Pullis, and O'Neil.

I wouldn't rule it out, last year and an average AC Milan side beat an arguably better Arsenal team 4-0 in one leg. The only saving grace for Arsenal and United is that Bayern play Dortmund in the cup and Real Madrid play the El Clasico in between the two legs. But let's be honest neither have small squads. Bayern could put out a 2nd string that would easily dispatch of Arsenal, as could Real with United.

Nothing much wrong with Boro,Nicky Bailey plays for them,he's a Sutton United youth product.

I think United will beat Madrid over the two legs, but Arsenal are going to take a pounding that would make an Essex girl wince

10-1 is not a cricket score. You might as well say 1-0 is a cricket score. Where is the option for one or both to get through? I don't think either will, but it should be an option.

    :D

Out of the PL, I like Swansea as my Dad's from there and I currently also like Norwich, Fulham and Villa solely because of their managers.
