Defunct motors now, they used to be something a bit different and quirky but after the General Motor's take over they were nothing more than Vauxhall's with nicer seats. I loved the old 900 convertible though, iconic shape and styling.
Does Saab even exist? What happens when you have a fault? My old man had a 95 a few years ago. It was utter pish. Lasted about a year tops. He's got an M5 now the caaaaant.
The GT is lovely. I could have bought a metallic purple one with cream leather seats... was the same price as my motor at the time.. i opted for a citroen instead as at the time had to do an 80mile round trip a day. so went economical. Gutted as it only lasted 2 months then i ws back to no mileage so could have had it... <puts violin away >
I've had both in the last five years, had a Saab 93 aero and before that an Alfa 156. Never had a seconds trouble with the Saab and the only money I over spent was on tyres. Pissed away a small fortune on the Alfa though. Would choose an Alfa every day of the week. Now have a ford focus.
Yep I can remember seeing a Saab 900 in British Racing Green and thought 'I want one of those!'. Never did get one though.
