Give it another kick then mate, as you're totally WRONG Check my post history, as there was another thread on here about Ince just after I joined the site...............
Agreed, I've not got anything against either player (well, apart from Sturridge's questionable attitude), I just think we should be aiming a little higher and spending the money better
He did do very well for Bolton and I agree with what you are saying but he hasn't done anything else, plus £12m would buy a much better foreign import should we chose to do a bit of scouting once in a while!
He played (some part) in 30 league games last season & scored 11 goals, playing in a wide position that isn't his bet or preferred slot. Put it this way, if he'd have played central for Chelsea this season ahead of Torres, he'd have outscored him imo.
David N'Gog and Emile Heskey would have too No, as I've said numerous times, I have mixed feelings on Sturridge. My head says no we could be doing better, the heart says 'this could really work out'.
http://www.voice-online.co.uk/article/talks-between-daniel-sturridge-and-liverpool-collapse? Sounds about right
If this is true (and it is a big if) then it just confirms our concerns regarding his attitude IMO. We want players that want to play for the Liverbird, if he needs time to assess and weigh up his options not he is not committed to the cause and is not what we need.
Very true, which is why I tend to say 'his reported attitude'. As I said above, this is a big if anyway
