I see where you are coming from but I don't 100% agree. Although I tend to take the stance of 'you've made your bed, lay in it', I also respect that he wanted to play rather than collect a pay cheque. As for whether it is a good signing or not, I guess only time will tell but it is not a deal I was exactly hoping for I never expected a striker, been saying this for a few months now. With the way Brendan wants us to play we were never going to be in the market for a goal poacher IMO
Interesting. what would people prefer if we could only see one happen... 1) Sign Sturridge or 2) Sterling sing a new contract. I suspect I know the answer here and I think it will be a landslide too
