It's also worth to note that the first game that we play away is on 14th February 2013 and the following game that weekend will be the FA cup 5th round should we progress, so that could be a tough week. The 2nd game and return leg at home, will be played on 21st February 2013 and the following game that weekend is Swansea at home. So February will be a tough month.
Its noticeable that the Europa League is much more evenly matched in the KO stage than the Champions League. I guess you have probably the best half dozen teams in Europe (except Athletico Madrid and Man City arguably) in the last 16 of the CL and they don't give the rest much of a chance. Plus Barca are very short Favourites. http://www.oddschecker.com/football/champions-league/champions-league/winner The Europa on the other hand has at least a dozen teams who could win it arguably and the Favourites are much longer at 7/1 http://www.oddschecker.com/football/europa-league/winner
Because we are the Liverpool of 2010, we always shoot ourselves in the foot. We will probably be ona great run, here we, fourth place, cup final on the way aaaaannnndddddddd lose to the stags.
Weird to see such a spread of votes. Makes a change from match days with Liverpool fans being generally optimistic or pessimistic, to then have a surge of voting by opposition fans when the game has finished.
