I think he'll go to a fairly big Italian club in January or the summer. Now he's played for Arsenals first team, the million quid price tag will have increased and I think he sees himself playing top flight football now, rather than 'maybe' next summer.
They really should have bought Mannone, I agree totally with this, instead they've went for this Cockupovic on the cheap- I mean I really hope he isn't Cockupovic but having a Billy Butterfingers at the back for 3 games isn't ideal, maybe Amos can take a few pointers from his mate de Gea and come back stronger
Fulham fan here I'm a big admirer of Stockdale, and feel he should have taken over Schwarzer's role at the beginning of the season, but Jol seems determined to find a place for Mark until he can apply for a bus pass. Glad to hear he did well for you guys on loan, but you can't really lay into Jol for taking him back when he was the one who loaned you Stockdale in the first place. As for getting him for £1m? Not a chance sorry guys. Stockdale was in the England team no more than 12 months ago, and wouldn't go for anything less than 3-4m in my opinion. I genuinely hope he either becomes our new Number 1 or leaves permanently, as he is far too good to be warming the bench.
I can't believe that someone rated at £3-4 million would be sat on the bench or sent out on loan for that matter. Apparently he was put on the transfer list once we'd loaned him, which automatically lowers his price. He was a great keeper and I agree that he should be a starter for Fulham, but Jol clearly doesn't rate him. Has he been recalled because of an injury to your back-up keeper then?
There was only the OP who thought we'd get him for £1m, and he's either 12 or ******ed. I wouldn't say he's a £4m keeper though, no matter how good he's been for us. I get the impression Fulham have ****ed him about a bit and he's getting pissed of with it.
I'm pretty sure Swansea had a bid of over £2million turned down last season before they signed Vorm, can't imagine his price would of fallen much since.

Do people really think a top manager is going to alter his transfer policy because the local rag in a city hundreds of miles away has pretended he said something about a reserve team player he's got loaned out to the local lower league team that plays there? Amos hasn't been in the match squad because you're only allowed 4 domestic loans in it. Brady, Meyler, Elmo and Stockdale are the 4. Therefore he couldn't be put on the bench, now stockdale has gone I expect Amos will be back, there's no difference to being sat on the bench or in the stand if you're a keeper anyway.
You are allowed 5 loans in a match squad.
