Like Southampton and Everton proved I take it? Chelsea are capable of doing that to any premiership team so no disgrace. On another note I thought we were a little lucky in the first half with some of the shots to be honest, Ashdown did his job and saved them but too often he parried them into the field of play.
Gave a top 3 premiership side a genuine game for 80 minutes. Yeah so it ended up 5-1. Doesn't take away from the fact we were leading at half time & were still i touch with 10 mins to go. Better side won. C'est La Vie. We move on to Saturday & a game that really matters to us

Teams chasing promotion often play weakened sides in the cups . You proved you have a vast amount of plastic supporters, given your average attendance being around 20,000. I presume you mean 'home' and it wasn't 14,000 it was 16,500.
