The club have snapped up 2,000 tickets for the Adams Park clash to allow away supporters to roar them on without paying. More
good for the club tbh , ot only have the tickets presumably been paid for at a decent price by bradford but all teh extra fans buying programmes/burgurs is all good for our bank balance a fantastic gesture from their board as well, wish we could do something similar!!!
I can see that financially it is good for us. We have sold tickets that wouldn't have got sold, however cheap they were. There will, as you say jose, be additional sales in the ground. I'm struggling to see how it financially benefits Bradford and therefore how it would benefit us if we did something similar. Maybe we should just keep offering cheap tickets to all visiting teams. I suppose if you have any relatives in Bradford they could pick up a few tickets and post them. That would be a shame if that happened on a large scale. Worth looking on ebay for cheap tickets for Saturday's game and reporting any such activity.
Seems to be going down well. Could this be the first time there are more away than home fans at a Wycombe match?
in a competative match maybe, but the QPR pre-season friendly was the embarrassing one - the entire away stand and half the family stand was full of away fans but the attendence was still jsut under 3000 :/ still though, hope some wycombe fans may see the recent results and come down to adams park on saturday so were not outnumbered!!!
The problem is that it's the last Saturday before Christmas when poor football fans get dragged out to go shopping when they would rather be as a game and attendances are always low.It would be good to see a crowd of over 5,000.
