21 minute compilation of Adel (not mine):

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P20Dlj84xGc - says not available on this site, but available on YouTube.

If he losses his sulkiness, then he'd be one of the best players in the world. You never know which Adel will turn up.

No one in particular mate because none of them are stand out this season - hence 16 games without a win.

Taarabt was outstanding in the last game but I fail to understand how someone can get excited by a player who, if his PL history is anything to go by, might take another half dozen games before he does it again. If he plays like that against Newkie and then again against West Brom then I'd definitely start to get excited by this lad.

I don't feel the need to cream myself over a player that's not yet near the standard of other QPR players I've watched over the years, like Sir Les, Trevor Sinclair etc. If it makes you excited watching a player do a few step-overs then give the ball away or poke it through a players legs straight to the opposition then by all means get excited.

But its a coherent team performance that does it for me. I know I'm in the minority but that's my honest opinion. One or two others (like Queens) think likewise.

Best I've seen with the outside of the boot.

Fave goal is the one v Swansea although any highlights usually show it a bit after some of his best showboating.

The second last weekend was the best for me followed by Cardiff away. The build-up to the Swansea goal was sublime but the keeper really should have kept it out.

Those days are gone herald the new king... Taarabt is the best QPR player of all time IMO

There's no denying that a beautiful team playing the beautiful game consistently is a thing to behold. I've been lucky enough to regularly see two great teams at their peak - QPR 74-77 and AC Milan 88-92. I don't expect to see it consistently at that level again - last English team to get there were Arsenal when they were winning things a few years ago - but hopeful to see it in flashes, and some of the current team are capable. But I'm a greedy bastard, and I like a bit of individual outrageous and unnecessary showing off with my team brilliance.

That is my sentiment in a nutshell only I've never been able to state it concisely.

    Cheers Stan. :)

Now there's a good post right there. Those two teams you mention were indeed great teams. All my mates had AC jersey's because of that Milan side!

Odd as it may sound, the last individual player I was excited to watch was Martin Rowlands! Don't ask me why because he wasn't as skilful as Tarbs but there was something about his game I liked.

It was never going to happen was it? To be fair, a well grounded few knew that his Fulham performance was the exception rather than the rule. Not having a go at the lad because by average to decent player standards, he's done well. But by the lofty standards set by some, it makes them look totally disconnected from reality.

Hopefully now, when he has his next good performance in a few games time, people will look at it more objectively with a more reasonable point of view.

Not me you old ferret ... I have just watched the WBA game at lunch ... ok he was man marked to hell and closed down against Newcastle he still looked the best on the pitch as he did against WBA at times. You are totally mistaken yet again He shines during our games and that's is what is attracting the attention I agree with you that he doesn't win games on his own every game like he did at home against Fulham ... just focus on his creativity and the respect given to him by the opposition and you may start to see why he such a talent. He is already currently one of the best premiership players to watch and so that sort of puts you in the batch of people who just to knock for knocks sake... He is a very talented player and deserves the maximum amount of respect from any QPR fan in my book.

Catching up on this board and the attacks made against our players is very sad. SWP looked very good against WBA IMO. Look the results are going against us its that simple
