Apparently he's tweeted with a photo outside the Gym saying ''this is my home for the next week''.

 

Bad news for us all on top of this Bruce has expected lost his appeal, we have now got to hope which ever keeper we use does a decent job, I'm not sure the management will be 100% convinced which keeper to put in, we have one untried who didn't get good reviews in the pre-season games and then we have the other one who got dropped not only from the team but the bench has well

 

I'd definitely play Jakupovic, Amos' confidence will be around nought right now.

 

It was at nought anyway, that's why he always looked so shaky. I think this episode might push him into the Gary Speed zone

Not ideal but hardly the end of the world. With Faye - Hobbs and Chester as a back 3, anyone of us could go in goal and do a decent job. Time for Ben Amos to come back reFreshed and rarin to shine. Last chance saloon maybe ?

In saying that, did not Martin Jol state that only an injury to Mark Schwartzer would mean a recall ?

Looks like many Fulham fans are not happy with the treatment of Stockdale by Martin Jol. Some even suggest that this will be the final straw and Stockdale will leave regardless in January as he is being treated badly and is being dragged from Pillar to Post. Not the first time apparantly that Martin Jol has done the dirty on Stockdale. You can here the cry now from R5..........

Amos' confidence doesn't come into question here. If Amos wants to prove himself, here is his chance.

 

I think it's time to put this seemingly eternal problem to bed.

Play Amos for now and offer Fulham £1m for Stockdale in January and lets have an end to this ridiculous thorn in our side.

(ps. I have no idea how much Fulham want or how much we are prepared to offer, £1m is completely arbitrary)

 

Yeah but if we are willing to pay 1m for Stockdale then how come we weren't willing to pay that for Mannone!

 

I thought the goalkeeping position came into the realm of 'specialist position in which emergency dispensation can be given' ?
