I literally just saw him in Tesco in ocean village. I haven't commented in a while about how amazing he is so I thought this was due.

    HE IS SOOOOO BEAUTIFUL. <ok>

He's a huge player for us. One of the very few good things to come out of the Rupert Lowe era.

Puncheon and Lallana sound French but are English. Schniederlin sounds German but is French.

That's all I have to say.

What a bargain that was! We would make a huge profit if we were to sell him (not any time soon I hope). But he will attract interest from bigger clubs at some point.

It sound as French as much as Schneiderlin sounds German. Not at all, in other words. I've studied both French and German, and I haven't come across any words or names that sound like Puncheon and Schneiderlin.

Puncheon is an archaic word for a cask, and according to the dictionary derives from the old French 'poinchon', so he's certainly right to say that it sounds French.

Schneiderlin is quite obviously a German name, it means 'little tailor'. Morgan is from Alsace of course where there is a lot of German influence.

I think perhaps you need to resume your studies <laugh>

Morgan Schneiderlin is a very German sounding name. Mainly because he's from Alsace.

They take a lot of grooming though, and their hair gets everywhere.

It was such a feeble joke, I hang my head in shame.

Though I did once know a couple of old dogs from Grenoble, if that helps.
