Adel's goal being ranked with some of the best... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...-strike-Greatest-goals-chosen-Sportsmail.html
Another Adel thread...goody I'll start this one off...so that I can take my turn at getting the brunt of the "I love Adel" hate mail. It was a good goal, and a precious precious goal to us...but no wonder goal....would not put it in the same league as many of the others in the piece He was lucky that the ball re-fell for him as he went round the players, it could have gone astray at that point (as it has done before), but he did so well after that..Thanks Adel you won us that game. As I have said before, he is a great player, best we have, when he wants to be, but for that reason at the moment he is not world class. Do that "wonder goal" every week against the bigboys, not against a non-functioning Fulham team...start with another against the Toon. I don't hate Adel, I hope so much he stays with us during the ACN, but it ain't no wonder goal
Sorry Sooper, but I think Adel's second against Foolham was a tad fortunate. He so easily could have lost the ball in midfield had it not bounced off his shin whilst going past defenders (as Beth said). For me his worldie against Swansea (4-0 - Championship) and his free-kick against Spuds last season - both at LR - were far better.
He did get a lucky bounce off those defenders it has to be said. The finish with the roll-over and then outside of the foot was spectacular though. Not his greatest goal due that lucky bounce and Fulham's ****eness on the day.
Both Adel and QPR got more praise and more cover on The Barclays PL channel's Football Today programme yesterday, than I have ever seen before. Really good PR. Long highlights, analysis of our formation and players, and a lot of focus on Harry, Adel and Mackie. They made Adel's goal, goal of the round. They even brought in a 15 minute feature on Les Ferdinand, and signed off the 2 hour programme to music accompanying our goals Saturday!
Wow, that's impressive, sorry I missed that. Doesn't seem very QPR to get that sort of serious analysis. Great.
I thought the one he controlled on his chest and volleyed in from a Granero pass earlier in the season was better!
That was a wonder goal! But so was Saturday's. The latest is probably the best, and the next one even better!
Yeh was dead lucky I caught it, though maybe I missed the very start start - they had just started long highlights of Saturday when I tuned in. If you have this Channel (think its only outside the UK) they show repeats so you could pick it up.
