Come on you've said much worse about me lately, and when I've tried to PM you to sort out our differences you've ignored me. You've more than earned my contempt. Apologies to everyone else.

Where I sit I am surrounded by women (except for the Guly baiters behind me) so any sexist comments are usually dealt with speedily by a swing of the very lovely Mrs Godders handbag which packs a mighty punch especially with the thermos flask inside. Compared to her that horrid Thatcher woman is a softee.
Who do you think you are ? Whenever i post a comment on this site you are straight in with your overbearing correctness as if your opinion is the only one in the world worth reading. I have never seen any PM from you and your contempt as you put it is meaningless. Now lets leave it at that.
So let's review; you declare that you've earned everything you have by yourself and you don't owe anyone else anything, you frequently criticise others and their beliefs in the least respectful possible terms, you ask "who do you think you are?" to anyone who dares question or criticise your often absurd worldview and then you invariably fail to engage with those questions or criticisms, you prescribe yourself the last word, and you are hypocritical enough to accuse someone else of thinking highly of his own opinion (not true, I just think very little of yours)? You really are an intriguing character.
Any-one seen anything about why Lee came off against Newcastle. Would be good to see hi involved on Saturday even if it's on the bench.
I dont normally like to say things like this but I have a funny feeling about the Sunderland game - I think a draw could be our best hope. And Liverpool v Fulham I will be hoping for a Pool win - they will never be dragged into the mire but Fulham most certainly can. I still believe one team starts to spiral after a good first section of the season...here is hoping is WHU!!!
It is natural to have a funny feeling about any important games involving Saints. I'm sure we felt that way about Reading, until the final whistle when we discovered we had been confident throughout.
In the recent u-21 game v Man Utd Lee looked distinctly sluggish and out of form, so unless he has perked up considerably since then i wont be pinning my hopes on him on Sat. I reckon thats Saints without Lallana are well capable of a decent result against Sunderland providing the team performs as it has recently.
Im not so sure Fran - against Reading I privately thought we would win - albeit by a larger margin but really thought we would win. Just different against Sunderland ,not sure why - let's hope I am completely wrong! Put it this way I am not a gambling man, but would have placed a large one on the Reading win, but wouldnt lay my neighbours fortune on the Sunderland one...
This is a game that will seperate the men from the boys - and of course, the women from the girls. That aside, it will go a long way to deciding whether my relatives get scowled or smiled at this Christmas. We are getting to the meat of the season now, and we need to beat Sunderland or we'll be looking at a long hard winter ahead. Adam Lallana is a huge loss, but I don't think we're over-dependant on him to the same extent as Sunderland are on Steven Fletcher. We're the improving team here, and our improvement can continue on Saturday, or I'll be asking for extra helpings of sprouts.
We did ok without Lallana against Reading; of course I'd prefer to have him available, but I don't see any reason we can't get a result without him. I expect the same lineup that finished the Reading game.
If you eat too many sprouts Archers you won't need to worry about a tube strike on Boxing Day. You can use jet propulsion!
What will be your likely team? Ours should be: -----------------Mignolet---------------- Gardner-----O'Shea---Cuellar-----Rose ------------Larsson---Colback---------- --Johnson----Sessegnon----McClean-- ------------Fletcher or Wickham------- Subs: Westwood Bramble Kilgannon Vaughan Meyler Campbell Fletcher/Wickham
My guess is KelvinClyne, Fonte, Yoshida, ShawSchneiderlin, Cork, Ramirez, PuncheonLambert Rodriguez( Lee)
My guess is: ----------------Davis----------------- ----Clyne----Fonte----Yoshida-----Shaw --------Schneiderlin----Cork------------ ---Puncheon---Ramirez-----Rodriguez---- ---------------Lambert-------------- Subs: Gazzaniga/Boruc, Richardson, Hooiveld, Davis, Guly, Lee, Mayuka.
I think it's more likely to be 4-4-2 with Ramirez on the left and Rodriguez up front with Lambert, but yeah, apart from that the team picks itself really.
It is supposed to be a bit of fun. But typing "3-1" and leaving it at that is really boring, so let's add a little colour.
4-4-2 just does not work in the PL. It worked v Reading because they play 4-4-2 and look where it's got them. And besides Ramirez is out of position on them left. I'd rather have Ramirez in the middle, where he can have his biggest influence, and play Rodriguez on the left. Ramirez is better than Rodriguez, therefore he should be in his best position.
