The other question is who might we lose. If a big money offer came in for Pilkington or Johnson, for example, would we sell? Last season Pilkington's form dropped when it was rumoured Liverpool were after him. Need to keep a settled squad.
I'm happy with the strikers we have! Goals are being scored from all over the pitch and we have four strikers for one position. Given the chance I think Morison and Jackson would do well. We don't really have any idea with how Kane would do. Also, we're yet to see what Vaughan will do this summer. Now you know how I feel about less and fewer!
I was just saying that to another fan last week!!! He certainly had the beating of Boyce for our 2nd goal on Sat and he just needs to take defenders on more often IMO and as ncfcwonkey says, "we don't really need another striker to warm the bench."
I think were in a financial situation that it would have to be a ridiculous offer for us to sell a player now! we had several enquiries in the summer for players and told the clubs to bugger off, so why would we consider offers half way through a season!
Mind you, Hoolahoops tackled Boyce to set up the first goal. Boyce must remember when Dave used to play!
