Sadly, I have to admit to watching The Big Bang Theory.
I am working my way throught the Foyle's War series on youtube though if that counts.

Apart from that, I only get to watch TV when the kids are out.

now lie to me is a class show. I have that on my hard drive. the way Roth's character can look at physical movement and eye pupils and spot the fibs is amazing. only two episodes into that one mind so please no spoilers.

At the moment I'm flittering between the Boondocks and GTO.

Previously I was watching Breaking Bad, Californication, and Red Dwarf to name but three.

Am I the only one who was disappointed with how S1 of Homeland ended?

I like Burn Notice. it was funny how Gabrielle Anwar's accent went from Irish (bad one at that) to American so quickly...

Well if you are, season 2 is a whole lot better, especially the season finale is pretty good.

Well then don't watch Elementary, John Lee Miller(who is a brit) uses his accent too much to convince the US audience that he is Brittish. Which is really annoying because I've never in my entire life heard an Englishman pushing that hard to stand out as a Brit. He may play Sherlock Holmes as a neurotic but due to this bizarre accent of his it's more like a sociopath with neurotic symptoms...

Talking about bad acting, Revolution's first seven episodes were dreadful, horrible, my eyes hurt at times! Woeful acting and bad editing almost ruined the show halfway the season and I was about to quit watching it when the storyline, dialogue and editing finally got a wee bit better after episode 8.

JLM does over act in Elementary I agree.
I like the idea of the female Watson though. A nice little twist.

    Homeland
    Elementary
    Falcon
    Arrow
    Last Resort

Are my current ones. I'll have to disagree with Cove, do watch Elementary it is very good. I went in with a negative attitude with JLM and Lucy Liu, the Americanisation of a great british drama. But I have to say I am thoroughly enjoying them. I've enjoyed Falcon too.

Arrow is ridiculous and you really do have to switch your brain off! A vigilante running around with a bow and arrow, enough said. Last Resort is your typical US Drama that starts to lose its way very quickly. Homeland is fantastic.

I have been waiting for Game of Thrones to restart. I was like Pulp a Californication watcher, Hank is a great character. I was bang into Dexter for a few series but then felt it was all just becoming a bit samey. I do have a number of series sitting there waiting for me to get back into. The first series was gripping.

I've lost faith in these "epic" american dramas, they invariably run out of budgets, or run into writing problems and are duly cancelled without a satisfactory ending. Hugely annoying. Flash Forward, Carnivale, Alcatraz, Terra Nova, The Event.

I have Entourage off my bro to watch, anyone have an opinion on that? A must for any self respecting TV fan and timeless are of course The Sopranos and The Wire. Both ridiculously good.

    Favourite series

    The Wire
    Breaking Bad
    Game of Thrones
    Arrested Development

Watching It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Homeland, got to say Homeland has gone downhill 2nd season.

I must say I really did enjoy Entourage, especially the last two seasons were good. Allthough I must say the ending was a bit of a downer, felt like things were rushed to make the story fully complete without any lose ends.

At first I thought it would be about explosions.

It's actually one of the few American comedy shows that I have found amusing.
Think the last American comedy I genuinely liked and laughed at was MASH

Boardwalk Empire (I went through a bit of a stoner stage and watched a lot of YouTube documentaries on prohibition gangsters - this is basically a dramatised version of their life, by the makers of The Sopranos)

The Sopranos (there's a reason everyone raves about it)

The Wire (there's a reason everyone says it's so good its better than the Sopranos)

Breaking Bad (Good acting, clever concept, top script)

Sons Of Anarchy (Its just one of those shows that is...you know...cool: Was sorely tempted to grab my BMX out of the garage and stick a can on the back tire to make the motor bike sounds after watching it)

Game of Thrones (Think Lord of The Rings meets Spartacus)

Him and Her (BBC Comedy - the new 'Royle Family')

MisFits (Channel 4 Comedy - brilliant script, brilliant casting - properly funny)

Community (Chevy Chase plays a racist old man and the Chinese guy from the hangover plays a psychotic Spanish tutor - hilarious!)

Modern Family (The best comedy to come out of the US for years!)

I am currently being forced to watch Dexter by my brother... It's alright, a bit somber and the dullness in which the script is delivered, while reflecting the character perfectly, is just a bit bland for me. Also, why always engage them in a fist fight before downing them??? Is he batman?

Rita from that (if I liked blondes, she'd be like a goddess to me :emoticon-0152-heart:emoticon-0152-heart:emoticon-0152-heart) is in another series that I like and, although it's "finished", still watch a lot... *cough* Desperate Housewives *cough* :bandit:

And I also like The Office (US version), which I think was better than the british version, albeit running out of material now. To be fair, I think Gervais' TV programmes are ****, but his stand-up is one of the best around. And New Girl, quite good. Zooey has the most grating voice on earth though!
