This is about right, and similar to us.

Made a packet off betting against the Toon recently, took 17's on 78 minutes against Stoke as a I knew if one went in, another would follow, and that is purely because heads are shot to bits.

Cisse was never gonna keep that run going, but I'd still have thought he'd get 10-1 bare minimum, but the biggest loss to you guys for me has been Cabaye.

Half a team without him, IMO.

Not really. He was inconsistent last season, and I mean INCONSISTENT.

Yes, but without him you are ****, nobody dictates play for you.

However inconsistent he may have been, you win a damn sight more with him than without him.

Our results have been ****e most of the season, European games shouldn't enter into it because there's 8 or 9 changes. Our fans complain if we only play two up front, God knows what would be said if it was one! the fringe players will be good in a couple of years, but they aren't ready yet. It's going to be a hard slog.

And never mind why we are ****e! Why are you ****e? <laugh>

Yeah, som' he's playing in the Russell foster. He's getting used to playing in a position (right wing) he's just a little timid at the minute but he's fast and can pick a good pass. He'll get better. He absolutely loves it, must admit I do too! They are a canny little team and have some good players.

I was annoyed on Sunday, supposed to have three games and two teams didn't turn up! Finished now until January.

Good on him! I used to love watching my son play for Peterlee. He started off in the under 11's and by the under 16's they finished 3rd in the Premier. They had a really good side, I used to enjoy watching him more than I did Newcastle. I suppose it's a father/son thing. They disbanded after the under 16 season and he went on to Easington Hares. Every year it gets a bit nastier though, and by the time they're 17, they kick off and then spend the 90 minutes looking to kick lumps out of each other and spoil for a fight.

Enjoy it while you can. It's great! <ok>

We've just carried on our form Som' that's consistency for ya Tash! Ha.

What's gone on with cisse then. Is he still getting the chances or is he just bang out of form?

I think both teams will be safe this season to be fair. How far do you think you can go in Europe or would you prefer to be out of it?

It was on talk sport you were after Lorente. Not sure I've spelled that right but that Ba is on his way?

Ba is surely going, looks like Remy is gonna replace him.

That's a smashing signing by all accounts, but means a change in style from Ba.

We're down to the nitty gritty in Europe now, there's some cracking teams left in. If we get to the semi's I reckon we'll have done well. As for Ba, he's a great goalscorer, but if he's asking for £90 he can fec off with my blessing. No player should hold any club to ransom.

That's something I've always took pride in.

It proves that our club has massive influence in many countries.

We signed Ben Arfa on loan when we just got promoted, as well as Tiote. We signed Cabaye after the season we finished 12th.

We obviously have the status to sign these quality players regardless of our league position.

I have to say the way some parents go on I just shake my head! These are 7 year olds. For me it's more important for them to enjoy themselves than win.

I'm loving it at the minute. Like you say I prefer watching the kids, especially at the minute. Ha

Well, there is something in that, clearly.

Remy is a quality player, good outside the box too, but he'd be a better partner for Ba than Cisse.

It seems it's quite a way down the line, be intriguing to see if Spurs or Liverpool get involved as well, they are desperate for a forward of that calibre.

Our issue with players of that level is the lack of any European exposure, I was amazed when we got Sessegnon, frankly, and the rest of our better players have been British, as within Britain people realize the size of the club.

One Europe, people know who we are now due to TV and 6 seasons up, they just don't know what we are, if that makes sense.
