AFC is pretty clear.. Between Texans and Bronco's for the #1 Seed And Between the Bronco's and Pats for the #2 Seed Texans play the Vikings and @Colts, Think they'll beat the Vikings and in that grab the #1 seed, get the bye and home field advantage, we could then see them rest most of their starters against the Colts. Bronco's finish with two home games, Browns and Cheifs, the Browns have been playing teams tough and could cause an upset, the Cheifs I doubt will do much, can see them winning out and taking the #2 seed and the bye. Pats #3 seed, to play @Jags and Vs Miami, can see us winning out and taking the #3 seed, after the 49ers loss, don't think we'll be getting the first round bye. Colts #4 seed, @Cheifs and Vs Houston, one more win will do it and I think they'll get it against the Cheifs. Ravens #5 seed, Vs Giants and @Bengals, of all the teams in the AFC playoff hunt, they've got the toughest finish, they could end up losing both (Giants need to win for their hopes too!) and Bengals at home are always hard to play, the biggest worry for the Ravens must be their QB, Flacco, he's been poor for the last few games, if he can get back to some sort of form, then with that defence, they'll always have a chance Bengals #6 seed, pretty much their next game @Steelers is win and your in because the win will eliminate the Steelers, if not, they've still got a chance but they will need to beat the Ravens and still hope the Steelers lose their last game. In the Hunt: Steelers #7 seed, finish with two home games, but they're against the Bengals and Browns, Bengals is a MUST win if they want to control their own destiny, if not, then they'll have to beat the Browns and hope the other results go their way. I can see the Steelers winning out and pipping the Bengals to the #6 seed NFC, not quite as clear, 3 teams could still claim the #1 and #2 seeds Falcons #1 seed, like the Texans, 1 win away from clinching Bye and homefield advantage 49ers #2 seed, clicnhed a playoff berth but not the Bye yet, not a fan of the 49ers or the Hawks but I'll be staying up to watch them on SNF in week 16! Packers #3 seed, need to win out and have the other results go their way, unlikely to be the case so I see them staying in the #3 seed. Redskins #4 seed, in a 3-way fight for the NFC East, of the 3 teams, they have the "easier" run in, Eagles are playing for nothing but pride, in Cousions they have a decent backup but RGIII should return and that will be enough for them to get the win, final game is Vs Dallas, could be the classic Playoff game before the Playoffs! Seahawks #5 seed, could still claim the NFC West, but they'll have to win out and hope the 49ers lose to the Cards at home, don't see that happening, do see them winning at least one of their last two games so should be safely in the playoffs Vikings #6 seed, the team most at risk IMHO of not making the playoffs.. Stop AP and you stop the Vikings, Ponder lives up to his name more often than not! In the Hunt: Bears #7 seed, away for both games, but both are winable, however their Offence needs to help their Defence out.. Cowboys #8 seed, Vs Saints, they have nothing to play for and can be dangerous, to be in control, they need to win out, if they do that, they are the NFC East champs Giants #9 seed, @Ravens in a must win, the lose that, they're as good as out, will need quite a few other results to go their way.. Rams #10 seed, mathamatically in with a chance but realistically, won't make it, their last game is @Seahawks, can't see them winning that! With that in mind I think the Vikings miss out, shame, becuase I really like AP (who doesn't!), Can see one of the Bears or Cowboys taking the #6 seed (assuming Redskins remain at the #4 seed. With all that in mind, Wildcards could be: AFC - Steelers @ Pats (Pats win) and go play the Broncos Colts @ Ravens, Luck over Flacco, but Ravens at home so I'll take them to visit the Texans NFC - Bears @ Packers, Packers winning that to go play the 49ers Seahawks @ Redskins, close to call that, will go with RGIII (just) beating out Wilson's Seahawks and taking on the Falcons.
Seahawks not making the Playoffs? I think they're only one win away and both of their last two games are at home, one of them against the Rams who they should beat.
Crash and burn situation, Wilson for the first time under heavy pressure for the playoffs and as a rookie he will go down, but in style.
I think you're right jonny we ( Vikings ) have Houston and Green Bay left. personally I think we need to win both to finish 10-6 I'm hoping they both rest some of their key players but that's unlikely. 1 other point it's easy to say all you have to do is stop petersen and you stop the Vikings. no-ones been able to do that so far!
Exactly thats why I said "if" they can stop him, no one really has this year.. I think he'll have a monster game against the Texans but he'll need help from others against them, AD won't be able to beat them on his own.
