hoping to challange for a play-off place, it looks possible now! jo kuffour has been very good but hasent found the net yet then got very unlucky with an injury... as for oli he was injured for most the season then hes barely got in the team. still it looks like they will be starting upfront next game due to a shortage how has ben strevens been doing for you?
Not really had much of a chance to make a fair assessment of Strevens. Let us just say that when he has been given his chance, I cannot remember anything notable imo, although I hasten to add on Saturday he did not come on until the 90th minute! The problem is that Martin Allen works a rotation system, we never know who he is going to play from one week to the next. So who is supplying the balls for Kuffour, because I cannot believe he is going in search of anything. Good goal scorer with pace but imo lazy. Hence why has he not scored for you yet, because if he is not scoring what the hell is he doing? As for Oli nice guy, will have his League Two moments of glory but sadly few and far between. You just know damn well both of them are going to turn us over in front of the tv cameras in February.
kuffour has looked dangerous when the ball is played to him, hit the post at least 3 times this season and creates a lot as well. however hes been out for a while now and is just coming back to a rejuvinated team with gaz in charge so hopefully hes good as for strevens he will try hard for the team but i can remember very few moments of real quality in a wycombe shirt
2 goals in a 3-2 win at Bury and that's about it although that win was decisive in our promotion 2 seasons ago.
