According to Sky Sports it looks like Sunderland want to hold on to FC for the time being, should we knock this Fraizer thing on the head and move on to another target? We go hung up on signing the lad before and I think this time we need to say that if we can't get him lined up for early Jan we should move on to other targets. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11714/8340831/
MON is just posturing to get the best fee for Campbell he can. If he really wanted him he would have played before now and the kid is nearing the end of his contract and could go for free.
If he leaves now he'll only go for approx. £1.5m anyway, may as well keep him as back up until his clock runs down ! By the way I'm well impressed by you lot this season, looks like the play offs at least. Still you were bound to improve with the ex Blackcats coaching team and a few of our bench warmers. Looks like Meyler may return in the near future.
We'll be playing you again next season unless you go down. Pleased with Elmo, didn't quite see the best of Meyler. What happened with Turner, he was superb for us.
"Pleased with Elmo" is an understatement, he's been a revelation as far as I'm concerned, can't understand how MON could let him go out on loan considering how poorly the BlackCats have performed upto now this season. Surely the gulf in class between Prem & Championship aint all that great?
Believe Cristiano Ronaldo is unsettled at Real Madrid but he is considering approaches by Leicester and Leeds, so he's out as well.
I've heard that the reason that Arsenal players such as Walcott, Wilshire, Gibbs etc are stalling on new deals is that they are looking to force through a move to the KC
Maybe they have already got somebody lined up and all this Campbell stuff is just a smokescreen, sorry if that was posted already but seems like an obvious assumption
Steve Bruce said in one of his interviews that if the Campbell deal wasn't possible he had 2 or 3 irons in the fire anyway.
IMO, Steve Bruce already knows who he is going for and has used the FC speculation to hide his true intensions for January. Glad that MON wants to keep FC actually. Phewwwwwwww.
Think you're being a bit harsh on Meyler, he did have 2 years out with an injury. 2 goals in a loan spell after all that isn't bad.
Maybe Elmo just does not want to play for the Mackems and MON anymore. Prefers Steve Bruce as his gaffer. ?
