If you really want to come on here and have a decent discussion it would be more pleasant if you didn't show disrespect for our manager, "smirky" isn't nice and not even a true description as you well know. He might not be to your taste, but that is no reason to behave so childish about it. As far as Carroll is concerned, the jury is out because he hasn't had a fair chance to show what he can do for you yet.
I have the feeling that Carroll will never achieve his potential. He has that huge price hanging around his neck...he was never worth that. I think monetary success came too early and he will drift from team to team, doing just enough. Shame as he could achieve so much more.
