I'm interested to see how Chilton does. Its going to be hard to get noticed in the Marussia but not impossible, the guy he's replaying managed it :)

Glock is the yardstick if Marussia is still at the back. Seems a shame for the guy that his F1 career has now become a rookie-testing guage!

    Spot on, ASC.
Glock has gone relatively unnoticed in F1, which is a bit of a shame for such a great guy: a driver of considerable talent.

I thought he'd scuppered himself when he signed a long term contract there, because I thought he was too good to be at the back. I thought the same about Kovalainen, who did the (I thought) sensible thing of not signing on for too long so he had a chance to move. Looking at how things panned out, I think Glock was wiser than I gave him credit for.

Didn't Glock have a Renault contract offer? It's his own fault he's at the back.. and I think he's no better than average either. I don't think he's ever beaten a teammate in the champ.

I wonder if they had banked on getting 10th in the WCC, so now need a pay driver to make up the shortfall in prize money they may already have budgeted for 2013?

Could be an escape clause to boot him out if they didnt achieve 10th in 3 years. I personnally think Glock has had it and its time for some new talent.

I'm with Chris and Cosi on this one. I always rated Glock and expected more from his career. I hope it's not over for him but three years in that Marussia have made him look irrelevant, unfortunately.

Agree, I think three years with a back marker outfit has ruined his progression, it will prove very difficult to perform at a higher level having been where he is for so long.

I agree I rated Glock before but going to Virgin was a dead end.

After all those hints he dropped about having a decent drive lined up for next season. Any news on whether he'll still be doing stuff with the BBC?

What an idiot, after all those comments he made <doh>

If he's not going to Force India it's unlikely Buemi will, so that leaves Sutil and Bianchi. Forza Bianchi!!!

Luca di Montezemolo looks set to continue as Ferrari president long-term after announcing that he will not campaign for a seat in the Italian Parliament

    http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/104971

Not sure if he's been good for Ferrari or not tbh.
