Lets hope BR gets his wish & business is done early and then we can spend the rest of January arguing how crap/waste of money the new additions are rather than guess how crap/waste of money the new additions are!

I don't see a problem with his comments. He showed ambition when he talked about finishing 2nd - I think everyone knows where we are realistically but it's nice to see some positivity for a change. With regards to the transfer window, I think he is trying to downplay the whole window as everyone knows that we are in the market. Both he and FSG know the importance of getting it right in January (or they should do!).
Yes, he showed ambition but he also showed that he has no clue of our current level. There is no way you could possibly persuade me that the current squad could possibly get remotely near challenging for third place, never mind second! You will have all on persuading me we are capable of getting near fourth! Positivity is one thing, blind faith and stupidity are another
