Bit of a slow time leading up to christmas and since I've broke up from Uni for a few week just wondering if anyone had any films or series' of films they'd recommend. So go on then, what's your favourite film?
Not for everyone, but i like war movies especially the Vietnam war.. So it's a choice of Platoon or Full metal jacket..
Either T2 or Aliens. For series. Homeland is excellent, 24, Heroes, Fringe,Modern Family, but the daddy of them all - The Sopranos. Outstanding. I miss Tony.
Greatest Ever Film - The Good, The Bad & The Ugly!!! A timeless classic. More recently - Margaret!!! Bart
Cracking answer. Horrible question but if I had to say one I'd probably go with Casablanca or Nosferatu.
Did you ever watch Tour of Duty back in the late 80's early 90's mate? They've been released on DVD now. I'm was a big fan at the time, not sure if it's worth investing in the box set at £70 for 3 series though, it might be a let down this time around. The Avengers Assemble is probably the best film I've watched this year, although I think I may have only watched about 3 films all year. Whatever you do, stay away from Ted, it's not funny, it's just regurgitated crap Family Guy material.
I used to really love Family Guy. It was class, but I think I watched it too much. As for Ted, there was so much hype around this it was never going to be good for me, bit like Inception, but I didn't expect it to be THAT crap. Give me Ted any day though over the crap that appeared on my screen this weekend, never before have I seen anything as pathetic as Inbetweeners USA.
