I'd be seriously pissed off if Theo is crap in that game. We've given in to his demands, we're playing him where he wants to play, and today he delivered, hopefully he can consistently deliver, might mean we don't have to sign the injury prone Ba.
I do, as I said before, we can turn things around, but it comes to picking the right players, and leaving the rubbish out, Gervino & Ramsey.
I think that's the first time I've heard you say that we can turn it around, but I agree with your sentiment
Sort of. Should have taken cazorla off the moment he scored his 3rd. Shouldn't have brought Ramsey on.
Why shouldn't he have brought Ramsey on ? He replaced Cazorla with Ramsey who you just said should have come off earlier. Ramsey did the job he was asked to do when he came on.
I made a whole thread about it a few days ago: http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/184344-Arsenal-can-improve
We needed to defend the game, Ramsey did what he was asked of. Job done. You're just picking holes, to try and have a pop at Ramsey or Wenger . . or both. If you want to have a go at one of our players, blame Gibbs for the stray pass and being out of position for the two goals we conceded.
IT was a good result but we need to kick on from here. The players shouldn't take things for granted and focus on working hard and maintain consistency. No point battering Reading then switching off next game. Standout performers were Carzola and Wilshere. They have been our best performers recently and they continue to shine brightly. Also Sagna and Mertz deserve a mention, they were quality at the back. But i think the warning signs were there at the back, we need to be a tighter unit!
Ramsey did ok when he came on, but the game was effectively over at that point. Personally i would bring Rosicky on the pitch. He is much better maintaining possession and keeping things ticking over.
Definitely need to kick on from this result It was Reading, but as SJW said, you can only beat the team in front of you. Gibbs was at fault for the goals, they were two errors. Other than that we were very good tonight.
