I think it'll be horrific actually so will have a think before I decide.

There's always a few things on in January, not least my birthday when we usually go for a top meal. Ther's hardly any point in doing that without the top bottle of wine or two to go with it.

Wish I hadn't got he bloody Oliver tickets now!

A pal of mine was talking about this dryathalon, i will also start on the second its not like you stop drinking at midnight anyway though i don't think i will last the month. I do have exams in January though so thats always an incentive not to drink.

I saw turked rolls in this thread somewhere they always remind me of christmas!

You need to cook it for a couple more minutes, still a load of raw jizz round the yolk.

Well I had chicken pesto with saute potatoes and salad. It would have been nice but for the massive pre Christmas barney we had, which I have no doubt will be the first of many.

We're not ready apparently. Really? Well, it's still a ****ing week off, relax.

Tomorrow is the Dolmio lasagne kit, which I have pre prepared and it looks alright. Certainly edible.

I've taken out a packed of chicken noodles and a tin of tuna for tomorrow's dinner. Can't wait!

    Sounds nice..

Jordan did you just have egg on its own??

As for my burritos they were acceptable.. Though I've had chilli three out of the last four nights.. My ring piece can't take much more.

Chops what aspect of Christmas aren't you ready for?? Food? Booze? Table presents? Or is it just a bird crumbling under pressure which isn't there?

Wrapping the presents, picking up photos, ironing, cleaning and doing the final shop were the main contentious issues.
All will be done and dealt with in good time I have no doubt.

Big sticking point was I planned to play golf Saturday morning but as south Wales will be under six metres of rain water by then I won't be bothering!

Typical bird mithering over nothing then..

Crimbo brekkie is still being decided.. But it will involve smoked salmon and caviar. Don't like eating too much and ruining my appetite for lunch.

Breakfast will be a full English as we're having a late tea. Good sausages, bacon, black pudding, beans mushrooms and scrambled egg with toast.

Usually her folks come over but as we're doing the big one they won't this year so I may tone it down a bit.

Just the one bottle of prosecco while I cook it then!

..... crimbo breakfast - "champagne" cocktail - fresh clementine syrup dash of brandy topped with proscecco.

poached duck egg sat on sauted spinach atop a griddled field mushroom on a potato rosti, finished with hollandaise sauce
