There's a rumour that both are out for the season. Not 100% on it yet.

Awful news but my 8/1 about BB and Sprinter both going unbeaten this season is looking fantastic

Absolutely devastating blow to the Nicholls team but beyond that, to the racing public. Two real stars this season IMO.

Big Bucks leaving the World Hurdle completely wide open- cue QUEVEGA to make the switch to Thursday at Cheltenham this time around.

I knew something was up as Betfair markets were playing havoc and so were Betdaq.

Horrible news for Nicholls and also for racing.
Although he seems to have a real chance in the Champion Hurdle I really hope Nicholls now puts Zarkander over further, I have thought he is a Stayers winner in waiting but was never heading that way all the time Big Bucks was around - just think Zarkander will get done for toe over 2m on decent ground...

A mate of mine played BB to go unbeaten last season and the rule then was that he had to have run at least once during the season....

I done the bet with paddypower and I'm pretty certain they have to run twice, other bookies might be different though

Tendon issues like this are not serious, they just need lots of time to heal. Sad for connections, but providing the recovery goes well there is no reason why they cannot race again.

Terrible news for the horses and connections I hope they make a full recovery.

This is why I rarely invest ante post too much can go wrong.

Not a Nicholls fan so couldn't give a toss about how it effects his plans.

Terrible news- it almost sounds like sabotage. Two similar cuts to two of the stable's biggest stars.

Opens up the World Hurdle as a betting opportunity- especially if Oscar Whisky goes for it. He wouldn't have a penny of my money- he was dead and buried past two and a half last year, and Voler La Vedette beat him more than 10 lengths.
I wonder if Pipe may be tempted to put Grands Crus back over hurdles?
Other runners may now be interesting.

Stinks to high heaven if you ask me.

My ante post Cheltenham bets are going great - Go Native dead, Big Bucks out for the season. Wouldn't be surprised to wake up on Christmas Day to find Peter Casey has shagged Flemenstar to death

Has something underhand gone on here then Tam?

Nicholls not commenting, and both horses 'found' injured during nightly checks.

Usually they would spot injuries on the gallops surely?

Where does it leave the King George now?
