You'd hope that Fifa would threaten to take the world cup away from Russia until their FA sorted this **** out. Wont happen, to happy to take the backhanders from the Oligarchs to take a real stance.
Would people please refrain from ruining threads with the gay banter stuff? There's still plenty of prejudice and xenophobia in the world, and a lot of work to be done. Unfortunately, the misplaced zeal with which it gets tackled in this country only fuels the fire. Real issues often get ignored, while the easy targets become scapegoats, and everyone gets smug that they've done their bit.
It will take a mass murder of black players before uefa or fifa do anything about this, so obvious it’s all back hander’s. Really pisses me off. I would love to see African countries banning this world cup or all countries for that matter
